Job Description:
If you are a TECHNICIAN professional looking for an opportunity to
grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our
SIDNEY, OHIO location, you will provide detailed testing support
for our Technical Services Laboratories.
In this role, you will perform non-routine and complex assignments,
involving the responsibility for planning, conducting, and
completing diverse projects of relatively limited scope. You will
work closely with project engineers and team members to develop
scenarios, techniques, and guidelines for testing HVAC/R systems
and system components. You will assist and train new technicians,
as needed. In addition, you will effectively communicate the status
of project assignments to co-workers, management, and engineers,
and use good judgment to manage risk and solve problems.
AS AN HVAC/R SYSTEMS / FIELD TEST TECHNICIAN, YOU WILL:
You display a can-do attitude in good and bad times. You work
cooperatively with others across the organization to achieve shared
objectives. You are effective in a variety of communication
settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse
styles and position levels. You ask the right questions to
accurately analyze situations. You gain insight into customer
needs. You learn quickly when facing new situations.
