Our customer-focused teams are built on our core values: Community, Integrity, Agile, and Committed.Requirements:The Security Installation & Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and service of Video Surveillance/Access Control systems, as well as assist in the installation of various low voltage systems such as fire alarm, AV, audio, paging, intercom, and nurse call. The Security Installation & Service Technician is responsible for completing projects in the most efficient and effective manner. All work must meet the highest quality standards set forth by the Company while assuring a professional and safe working environment.PRIMARY DUTIES:Responsible for reading and understanding the Systems Integration installation process.Must understand wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.Must respond to all customer service-related issues promptly.Responsible for accurate service installation tickets, and inventory items.Achieve working knowledge of Company software and work within software systems on a day-to-day basis.Work in a safe, positive manner showing respect to others and contributing to the team.Fully comply with Company and customer safety programs.Demonstrates attention to detail, accuracy, thoroughness, and dependability by following instructions and being an active listener.Adapts well to changing circumstances or conditions in the field.Pursues career development opportunities such as training and certification courses.Always maintain a professional attitude and appearance.Keeps a clean and organized work environment.Adheres to all NEW ERA policies regarding dress code, safety, attendance, etc.COMPETENCIES:Prior Video Surveillance/Access Control experienceKnowledge of PC and IP integration requiredValid driver's licenseReliable transportationFamiliarity with basic hand toolsAbility to lift and carry up to 50 poundsAbility to stoop, balance, stand, walk, sit and climb and/or work on a ladder and lift.QUALIFICATIONS: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
