Responsibilities
MTSI is seeking a skilled and proactive Operations Research Analyst
that will apply advanced analytical and modeling techniques to
solve complex problems. This role requires a strong foundation in
mathematical modeling, statistical analysis, and computer
programming, along with the ability to communicate complex findings
to both technical and non-technical audiences. The Analyst will
lead projects, mentor junior analysts, and contribute to strategic
decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical
thinking skills, enabling them to navigate complex technical

work.Responsibilities:Duties to be independently executed include
but are not limited to:Perform data analysis using statistical
software to identify trends, patterns, and insights to identify and
define complex operational problems.Construct and validate
predictive models.Develop and implement data-driven solutions to
improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance performance.Manage
operations research projects from conception to
implementation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather
requirements, share findings, and implement solutions.Create
reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs)
and monitor the performance of projects and analysis.Conduct
scenario analysis to assess the impact of various decisions.Design
and execute experiments to test hypotheses.Stay abreast of the
latest developments in operations research methodologies, software,
and technologies.Identify opportunities to leverage new techniques
to improve outcomes.Prepare technical reports, presentations, and
documentation summarizing findings and recommendations.Stay current
with industry best practices and emerging technologies
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of operations research, data analysis, or
related experience required, and 2 years of experience in applying
operations research techniques in project management and leading
analytical projects.Must have the ability to work in a dynamic
environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD,
military/civilian personnel and industry partners.Possess a high
degree of initiative and the ability to perform day-to-day tasks
with minimal supervision.Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Operations
Research, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer
Science, or a related quantitative field. -Even better if you have
these desired skills:
Master's Degree in Operations
Research, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer
Science, or a related quantitative field.Experience with Python,
AFSIM or other MS&A and analysis tools. - -Clearance
Requirements:
- Must possess an active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI and
