Affairs Content Capability team is part of the Global Medical
Information, Insights and Content team (G-MIIC) within the Global
Medical Affairs Organization (GMAO). The team vision is to provide
best in class delivery of scientific information to our customers.
This team delivers the capabilities to increase throughput and
reuse of impactful content from creation to review delivering 80%
of Global/US and 100% of modular content to our affiliates to be
provided to our customers. This role reports to the Executive
Director, Global Medical Affairs Content Capability, and leads
process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives to
enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of content development and
medical review. This job description is intended to provide a

The Associate Director, Global Medical Affairs Content Supply Chain
(CSC) Integration Content Capability serves as a strategic partner
to Business Unit Medical Affairs, GMAO, and the Global Content Hub
(GCH) in India by leading the Content Supply Chain Integration
activities which includes process, operations, training and metrics
support for content development and quality medical review. The
incumbent drives the process optimization, standardization, and
simplification to support the content supply chain, as well as
accelerate reach and scale by driving process adoption, leading
sophisticated workflows, and translating business needs into clear,
actionable steps and measuring the results. A key contributor to
operational excellence, this role ensures consistency, data
accuracy, and timely task delivery across functions within the
defined process. This role will also become adept in Adobe
Workfront while supporting the medical affairs team. The ideal
candidate is detail-oriented, synergetic, and eager to contribute
to continuous improvement initiatives. Key Objectives/Deliverables:
Business Process: Owns content capability processes, ensuring they
are efficient, effective, and aligned with business requirements.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to align operational
activities with strategic goals, including collaboration with the
Content Supply Chain (CSC) team to influence system/tool build “in
the spirit of technology following business process” in addition to
collaboration with the Commercial team to cultivate alignments
where possible. Leads content capabilities process to support GMAO,
BU partners, and GCH team members to transition and optimize the
new operating model. Leads an effective governance with leaders who
support content to ensure alignment to changes to understand
upstream and downstream impact. Actively supports the roll-out of
process changes / improvements and provides needed training and
support to staff. Prepares and maintain detailed documentation
(e.g. guidance documents, training material, operational plans,
tools, job aids, etc.) related to process ownership and
improvements as it relates to Adobe Workfront. Collaborates with
GMIIC OCM/Adoption lead to ensure communication to
collaborators/business partners and roll out of trainings and
materials is embedded in well-rounded training plan and coordinated
effectively. Develops content flows, processes, and recommends
system and procedure enhancements to support the medical pull-thru
of the content supply chain. Serves as a subject matter authority
in process design, documentation, and continuous improvement.
Foresee potential operational issues, mitigation of those and
drives resolution to implement sustainable solutions. Possesses
understanding of Lilly’s compliance standards and quality
requirements and ensures the processes adhere to them. Lead Content
Capability Process Improvement and Analysis Finds opportunities to
improve understanding of requirements and process by the internal
cross-functional team; coordinate with internal partners to deliver
updated training to support the refining process as it continues to
be optimized. Monitors process performance using data analysis and
key performance indicators critical metrics (KPIs) and apply to
identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement within
the process. Reports on process performance to senior leadership.
Optimizes end-to-end operational processes to support content
business objectives. Identifies and address process bottlenecks and
inefficiencies. Leads process improvement projects and initiatives.
Seeks internal and external inputs or industry standard
methodologies to optimize or identify tools for efficient
execution. Builds strong partnership with Content Supply Chain
(CSC), Global Content Hub (GCH), and the commercial operations
organization for commonalities. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's
Degree A minimum of 5 years in business process design and/or
operations optimization Qualified applicants must be authorized to

this role. Additional Preferences: Pharmaceutical industry
experience MBA, Supply Chain or other related graduate-level degree
is preferred Proficiency in process improvement methodologies (e.g.
Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) Project or program management experience:
ability to lead complex and large-scale projects. Experience in
execution, process and pull through of implementation to business.
Knowledge/experience in Medical Affairs content operations Good
analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in root cause
analysis and process mapping. Proficiency in tools such as
Workfront, Lucid charts and data visualization platforms. Strong
leadership to influence in all directions, create positive change
toward a vision, collaborate cross-functionally, establish goals,
and deliver results. Enhanced presentation skills to larger groups
of audiences. Demonstrated ability to work with complexity and
provide simple, yet eloquent, solutions. Ideas generator and
problem solver with excellent communication and organizational
skills. Experience running multiple projects, priorities, and
project plans to ensure deliverable timelines are met. Skilled at
analysis, judgment and decision making, with an eye toward quality
and continuous improvement. Experience with Commercial Experience
in working with OUS Lilly affiliates. Operating knowledge of Lilly
Medical Affairs systems (e.g., Wrike, Veeva Vault Med Comms, AEM
Cloud, Workfront Planning, Workfront, Scope Deliver, etc.) Lilly is

on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic
location. The anticipated wage for this position is $122,250 -
$196,900 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a
company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual
