entry-level Scientist to join the Technical Services &
Manufacturing Sciences (TSMS) organization at Eli Lilly and
Company. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on
experience at the intersection of science, technology,
manufacturing, and regulatory compliance , supporting the
production of commercial, life?saving medicines . Scientists in
TSMS are exposed to the full lifecycle of pharmaceutical
manufacturing and play a critical role in ensuring the safety,
quality, and reliability of medicines across therapeutic areas
including diabetes, oncology, endocrinology, and animal health .
This position provides broad visibility into the pharmaceutical
industry while building a strong foundation for long-term
scientific and technical career growth. What You’ll Do As a TSMS
Scientist, you will actively contribute to manufacturing operations
and continuous improvement initiatives by applying scientific
principles to real?world challenges. Key responsibilities include:
Develop and maintain scientific understanding of manufacturing
processes used to produce pharmaceutical substances and drug
products. Analyze manufacturing and laboratory data, perform
routine data monitoring, and identify trends to support process
improvements and operational excellence . Provide direct technical
support to manufacturing operations, including support of
non?routine events such as deviation investigations. Apply
scientific principles to deliver practical, real?world solutions to
technical and business?related manufacturing challenges. Support
the preparation of technical documentation, including technical
reports, change controls, protocols, deviations, and regulatory
submissions . Utilize Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good
Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to analyze process intermediates,
active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), and finished drug
products. Monitor and respond to statistically based process
metrics in real time to assess process capability and variability .
Lead or contribute to technical improvement initiatives within your
area of responsibility to drive quality, efficiency, and
robustness. Collaborate effectively with cross?functional partners
including engineering, manufacturing, development, quality, and
other scientific teams to deliver TSMS objectives and business

delivery systems Basic Qualifications Requirements: BS in STEM
related degree Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in

on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic
location. The anticipated wage for this position is $66,000 -
$171,600 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a
company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual
performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit
program to eligible employees, including eligibility to participate
in a company-sponsored 401(k); pension; vacation benefits;
eligibility for medical, dental, vision and prescription drug
