We may not ask you to leap a tall building in a single bound, but if you're driven to push yourself - and the place you work - to the next level, we're looking for you.Telephonic Client Manager In this exciting and challenging role, you'll be called on to manage, protect and grow revenue through the sale of LexisNexis products, services and content to both prospects and existing customers. We're looking to you to:

  • Initiates and answers inbound and/or outbound sales contact directly from/to prospective and/or existing customers
  • Accepts orders, closes sales, maintains customer records and completes required documentation
  • Identifies and qualifies prospective customers and records sales prospecting activity in computer-based tracking systems
  • May have an assigned product line that may overlap other sales teams' territories
  • May have an individual or team sales quota and is likely to have a target earnings bonus or sales incentive opportunity General Profile Works with moderately complex territory/assigned accounts, products/services, sales or account management processes
  • Has direct contact with clients and moderate authority/opportunity to set and negotiate product/service terms
  • Continues to build knowledge of business, financials, products/services, the market or account needs
  • Develops and applies broad knowledge of products and solutions Business Expertise
  • Interprets internal/external business issues and applies them to own role Leadership
  • Develops competence by performing structured work assignments
  • Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team; works within guidelines and policies
  • Adapts information/style to the audience; clear explanation of difficult aspects
  • Meet/exceed monthly and annual sales goals.
  • Identify, target and maximize revenue/growth opportunities.
  • Develop strong relationships with key customer contacts and decision makers.
  • Take responsibility for the overall health/status of the customer relationship.
  • Provide customer feedback to internal partners regarding product or content issues.
  • Negotiate/renegotiate contracts.
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of LexisNexis products, content and solutions, including competitive differentiators and our value proposition.Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree.
    • Business-to-business sales experience.
    • Proven success with customer retention.
    • Experience interacting with corporate executives.
    • Previous field account management or marketing experience.
