Team Leader- Cath lab and EP Lab Service Line RNMiami Valley
HospitalFT, 7a-5:30p. Position SummaryThe service line leader (SLL)
for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab (CCL) and Electrophysiology
(EP) Lab has responsibilities for a dynamic functional area of
patient services and must collaborate with others to achieve
strategic objectives and unit-based goals. The SLL is responsible
for providing overall leadership, direction, strategic planning,
staffing, and coordination for the CCL/EP service line. These
activities are performed in concert with the organizations mission,
vision, values, goals, and objectives. Practice is consistent with
applicable licensing board, regulatory standards, and institutional
policies and procedures. The SLL works closely with all physicians
and lab staff to develop processes to mee the instrument and
inventory needs of the physicians and staff to ensure safe and
quality delivery of care to our patient customers while in the lab
environment. The SLL also works closely with the medical,
anesthesia, and administration to establish the systems and
structures needed to support eh delivery of quality patient care.
Theis position reports to the nurse manager of the cath lab and
works collaboratively with other members of the department
leadership team.General Summary/Responsibilities:This position has
direct responsibility for the day-to-day functions of the CC/EP lab
This department operates on a 24/7 basis. The position is
responsible for directing care, working with the physicians for
proper inventory of supplies and instruments needed for CCL/EP
procedures. This SLL will serve on committees and other leadership
roles as defined by department

Allied Health Area of study or major: Nursing Science Preferred
educational qualifications: Graduation from accredited school.
